MAYVILLE, N.Y.: -- Chautauqua County Executive George Borrello invites the public to attend his State of the County address on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
The presentation will be held during the regular meeting of the County Legislature, which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Chautauqua Lake Central School, 100 N. Erie St. in Mayville.
This is a change in venue from the normal location. The legislature usually meets at the Gerace Office Building in Mayville but its April meeting has been moved to Chautauqua Lake Central School to better accommodate for Borrello’s address.
“When I began my term as county executive, I vowed to visit 100 businesses in my first 100 days,” said Borrello. “This initiative allowed me to learn more about Chautauqua County’s current business climate in order to tailor future economic and workforce development programs. My State of the County will reveal the findings from my business visits and set our course as we work to elevate Chautauqua County. I thank the County Legislature for changing its meeting location to the school to better accommodate the public and our business leaders.”
The event is free and open to the public.
